family

I've never been more grateful to have my family. This month has just started but it's been crazy (in the good and bay way) and all of this has brought my family even closer. Yesterday my grandpa told me a story and im pretty sure I'll never forget it. He isn't a man of many words so whatever he says I value however this made me cry. When he was born his mom put him in foster care cuz his dad left him and his mom had no money so every couple of months he switched foster parents. And in the height of the depression this family took my grandpa and his two brothers and that family took care of his for 8 years. 8 years with our family seems like nothing but it meant the world to my grandpa. Of all these terrible things that my grandpa and even my mom went threw they are the complete opposite of bitter. I'm beyond thankful for my family and I love them so much. Even me and my brother got closer <3 mientras tu dormias yo estoy divertindo mi vida.
